Your export stays on your iPhone.

ExportCue is an account-free, offline video review utility. The developer does not collect data from the app and does not operate a server that receives your media or scan sessions.

Summary: no account, analytics, advertising, tracking, crash-reporting SDK, remote configuration or automatic media upload.

Media you choose

You choose a video through Apple’s Photos or Files interface. ExportCue uses AVFoundation on the device to read video and audio samples. It does not modify the source file. If a Photos item is stored only in iCloud, Apple’s system may download it after your visible selection; ExportCue does not operate that service.

Temporary access

Photos or iOS may provide a temporary local copy. ExportCue protects app-controlled temporary files with complete file protection and removes them after the scan, cancellation or failure. System-managed caches follow Apple’s lifecycle.

Session data stored on your iPhone

ExportCue can store the display filename, review settings, media facts such as duration and track counts, scan timing, coverage intervals, detected cue times and measurements, your decisions and a redacted diagnostic code. It keeps at most ten scan sessions.

For each session, ExportCue also stores a SHA-256 fingerprint calculated from the selected file. The fingerprint lets the app refuse a changed or different file before continuing a scan. It stays on your iPhone, cannot recreate the video and is never included in a shared summary or sent to the developer.

Session history does not retain video, audio, frames, thumbnails, waveforms, full file paths, Photos identifiers or permanent Files bookmarks. You must select a source again to play or rescan it.

Information we collect

We do not collect data from ExportCue. The app has no developer-operated account, backend, analytics, advertising, attribution, tracking, crash reporting or remote configuration. Aggregate sales, refunds and stability information may be provided to the developer by Apple under Apple’s policies.

Sharing

ExportCue does not automatically upload anything. If you choose to share a TXT or CSV timecode list or a summary image, the app gives that file to Apple’s system share sheet. The selected destination has its own privacy practices. A shared summary can include a display name only if you explicitly enable that option; it does not include the source media or a media hash.

Support and website links

The app opens support, privacy and terms pages in an Apple system browser only after you tap a link. Visiting the website is separate from using the offline app and may expose ordinary web request information to the hosting provider. Do not send private media to support.

Deletion and retention

You can delete one session or use Delete all scan data in Settings. The eleventh session is never created by silently deleting an unfinished session; you must choose what to remove. Uninstalling ExportCue removes its local app data. Because there is no ExportCue account or cloud database, the developer cannot restore deleted data.

Children

ExportCue is a general photo and video utility and is not directed to children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children or other users.

Changes

If a future version changes data handling, this policy and the App Store privacy answers will be updated before that version is released. The effective date identifies the current policy.
