Your reports stay on your iPhone.

FieldPacket is an offline, account-free field reporting app. The developer does not collect data from the app and does not operate a server that stores your reports.

Summary: No account, analytics, advertising, tracking, location collection, cloud sync, or AI service. A PDF leaves the device only when you choose a destination in Apple’s system share sheet.

Information stored on your device

FieldPacket can store the report title, client name, site address, report date, author and optional company details, imported or captured photos, photo dates, captions, report order, a company logo, and generated PDF cache files. This content is stored locally in the app’s container on your iPhone.

Information we collect

We do not collect data from FieldPacket. The app does not include developer-operated analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking SDKs, crash-reporting SDKs, cloud accounts, or a developer server for report content.

Camera and photos

Camera permission is requested only after you choose Take Photo. Photos are selected through Apple’s system PhotosPicker, which lets you choose specific images without granting the app access to your complete photo library. Selected or captured images are copied into the local report.

Sharing

FieldPacket does not automatically upload reports. When you tap Share PDF, the selected PDF is handed to Apple’s system share sheet. The privacy practices of the destination you choose—such as Mail, Messages, Files, or another app—are governed by that destination.

Purchases

Apple StoreKit processes the optional FieldPacket Full purchase. FieldPacket reads product and entitlement status so it can unlock features and restore a purchase. The developer does not receive your payment-card details. Apple’s handling of purchase and account information is governed by Apple’s privacy policy and App Store terms.

Data deletion and retention

You can delete individual reports or use Delete All Local Data in FieldPacket Settings. Deleting all local data permanently removes the app’s reports, imported photos, and saved company logo from that iPhone. Uninstalling the app also removes its local data. Because there is no FieldPacket account or cloud backup, the developer cannot restore deleted data. Export important PDFs before deletion or uninstalling.

Children

FieldPacket is a general business utility and is not directed to children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for having permission to photograph people or property and to include client information in a report. FieldPacket does not claim that a generated PDF is tamper-proof, legally certified, or compliant with a specific industry standard.

Changes to this policy

If a future version changes how data is handled, this policy and the App Store privacy answers will be updated before that version is released. The effective date above identifies the current policy.
