Keep the audition loop moving.

BoothYield is an offline, account-free iPhone app. Your audition and payment records remain on your device, so the fastest fixes usually happen in the app. Start with the checks below.

Please do not email audition exports, client identities, scripts, payment details, or confidential project information. A screen name, app version, iOS version, and the step that failed are usually enough.

Start and save an audition

  1. Tap Start audition to run the silent timer, or Quick add to enter time you already spent.
  2. Pause or resume when needed. BoothYield never records audio and never requests microphone access.
  3. Finish the timer, choose a platform and genre, then save the record. A project alias is optional.
  4. The new record starts as Submitted and appears in your Ledger.

Update outcomes in the Result Inbox

Submitted records become due for follow-up after the age selected in Settings. Mark them as Callback, Booked, No response, or Closed. Callback and Booked may require individual details; simple outcomes can be handled in a batch. Corrections keep status history instead of silently rewriting the past.

Understand the return calculation

Choose a 4-week or 12-week window, then group by platform or genre. BoothYield uses every audition minute in that group, including auditions that did not book.

hourly return = booked or received amount ÷ all audition minutes × 60

Track a booked payment

Open a booked audition to add its amount, currency, and optional due date. Mark it received when payment arrives. Editing the booking or removing payment details updates Insights from the current, traceable record.

Notifications are off

The Result Inbox and Receivables continue to work when notifications are disabled. If you want reminders, enable the appropriate toggle in BoothYield Settings. If iOS previously denied permission, use the link to iPhone Settings shown in the app.

The 26th record opened the purchase screen

The free app supports the complete workflow for the first 25 real audition records. When a valid 26th draft reaches the limit, BoothYield keeps that draft before presenting the one-time unlimited unlock. Complete the purchase and return to save it, or close the purchase screen and continue using every existing record. Existing records are never held hostage.

A purchase did not complete

Confirm that the App Store is available and try again. If you already bought the unlimited unlock with the same Apple Account, tap Restore Purchases from Settings or the purchase screen. Apple processes the transaction; BoothYield does not receive payment-card information.

Export a backup you can read

Open Settings and choose Export CSV. iOS presents its system share sheet so you can save the file to a destination you choose. BoothYield has no cloud backup or import in version 1.0, so keep exported files securely if you may need a reference after deleting the app.

Delete local data

Settings → Delete all local data removes auditions, status history, payment details, samples, timers, and app settings from this iPhone after confirmation. The StoreKit entitlement is managed by Apple and can be restored. Deleting the app also removes its local sandbox records; support cannot recover them.

Quick answers

Does BoothYield listen to or upload my auditions?
No. The timer measures elapsed time only. BoothYield does not request microphone access, record audio, or upload scripts or recordings.
Does it connect to casting platforms?
No. BoothYield is a private decision ledger, not casting automation. You enter the platform, result, and booking details that matter to you.
Why is a rate unavailable?
The selected window may have no audition minutes, no relevant money, incomplete outcomes, or more than one currency. BoothYield shows the missing condition instead of producing a misleading number.
Can support see or restore my records?
No. There is no BoothYield account or developer database. Use the in-app CSV export before deletion or uninstalling if you need a readable copy.
